Seed of Hope

Seed of Hope is about a guardian spirit putting his foot down against the invading 'civilized' who seek to cut down a tree that is vital for the forest.
They attempt to sneak past through the floor or the roof, but the blessing of the forest allows you to reverse your own self to ensure all twisted plans of the wicked are left smashed apart

Features:

• Fast-Paced Gameplay: Experience the thrill of quick reflexes and rapid decision-making to protect your tree.
• Dodge Obstacles: Skillfully navigate through a barrage of tree logs
• Defeat Enemies: Take down enemies advancing towards your tree by jumping on their heads, preventing them from causing harm.
• Collect Fruits: Gather fruits to boost your tree's health, ensuring its longevity as you face increasing challenges.

Controls: 

• Move - Left/Right Arrow key
• Switch floor -UP Arrow
• Smash - Down Arrow key
• Jump - Space
• Esc - Pause Menu 

This game was made for the Game Connect 2024 game jam hosted by Scope. As part of the jam rules, we were tasked with incorporating 2/3 themes from the following: 

1. Forget me not
2. Time Travel/ Reversal
3. Upside Down

Our game satisfies each of the aforementioned themes: 

1) Forget me not - The Tree is the last of its kind, and so is the player. In their solidarity to ensure the forest doesnt forget the two, they fight for survival

2) Upside Down  - A core mechanic of the game, you ensure that no human in their cunning strategies escape the mighty stomps of your soles rattle their souls
